    Tower Hill Stables, Asheldham, Essex, is a privately run Sanctuary, set up by Fiona Oakes in 1993 and home to over 400 rescued animals.

  • www.algernontrust.org.uk

    The Algernon Trust, Whittlebury, Northamptonshire, provides rescue for all types of domestic pets, together with rehabilitation of wild animals, including foxes.

  • New Life Parrot Rescue

    Promoting parrot welfare through education and the rehabilitation of victims of neglect and abuse.

  • Stray Cat Rescue

    Stray Cat Rescue rehomes and cares for lost, stray or unwanted cats and is based in South Bedfordshire.

  • Mama Cat Trust

    The Mama Cat Trust is based in the UK but carries out most of its work with feral and street cats in the Cambrils area of Spain

  • Oldies Club

    The Oldies Club (Registered Charity number 1118246) is a dog rescue, run solely by volunteers, which specialises in rescuing and rehoming older dogs – aged 7 years plus.

  • The Horse Refuge

    The horse refuge began in 1995 and is based in Kent, UK. Their sole aim is to end the suffering of sick and unwanted horses.

  • Freshfields Donkey Village, Peak District

    Not only does this unique charity rescue and care for donkeys that have been abandoned, mistreated or neglected but also the donkeys work with children with special needs. Invariably, child and donkey form a close relationship of trust and affection, which is of great therapeutic value to both parties.

  • Green Meadow Animal Sanctuary

    Green Meadow Animal Sanctuary (Wolverhampton) provides a safe haven, and the chance of a new life, for animals rescued from slaughter, abandonment or neglect. There are over 150 animals at the sanctuary, including sheep, goats, horses, cats, ducks, geese, chickens and rabbits.

  • Egyptian Society for Mercy to Animals

    ESMA is a charitable organization registered in Egypt (No. 3059/2007) that operates a shelter and adoption center. They are committed to improving animal welfare in Egypt in all areas of need, including: dogs and cats; donkeys and horses; animals in the Cairo zoo; and pet shops.

  • Baan Unrak Animal Sanctuary Thailand

  • Dogstar Foundation

    Volunteer-run non-profit group providing free veterinary care to dogs and cats in Sri Lanka via fixed and mobile clinics; UK Charity and WSPA Member Society.

  • TAPA

    Tsunami Animal-People Alliance (TAPA), formerly the Tsunami Memorial Animal Welfare Trust, sterilises and vaccinates dogs and cats in the Sri Lanka tsunami zone to reduce rabies and dog bites while humanely controlling the animal population and it educates children and adults about animal welfare.

  • Dog Care Clinic, Sri Lanka

    Goals: consistent neutering programs to reduce the number of street dogs; mass vaccinations to reduce diseases and combat the risk of rabies to both humans and animals; to improve the treatment and care of injured and sick animals; to increase the interaction between dogs and humans; to help the local people; to work exclusively in Sri Lanka - this prevents expensive transfers like flights, hereby also preventing shifting of these probmes to other countries.

  • Trikala Shelter, Greece

  • Bedfordshire Wildlife Rescue

    Bedfordshire Wildlife Rescue has been running since early 2004. The organisation was set up by Sam Bedford, who has been involved in animal welfare for 15 years and runs the charity from a small treatment room based at her home in Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire.
